And, you get bonus points if you are say - the 1st empire in the galaxy to accomplish such a thing, you get a bonus. Most importantly, you get points toward your Era score (which resets at the end of an era, effectively). Basically, the timeline system would be composed of a window to acknowledge and record all the little things your empire does, and give them a brief moment to shine. These achievements, in the case of Stellaris, could be things like: For each Era, an empire has a score that goes up based on achievements they make.

We can imagine that in Stellaris, An Era might last 20 or 50 years. As your empire grows, it has an 'Era' Score that builds up over a number of rounds. However, one feature that I really did like from that series was the timeline system, and I think it would be both a great thing to add to the narrative to Stellaris, and I hope/suspect, it would be rather easy to do (a great option for a mini expansion).įor those unfamiliar - Timelines and Ages work sort of like this. So, I much prefer Stellaris, and haven't touched Civ 6 in years.
